The Best Ribs in Scottsdale

Ok well I’m not the worlds biggest rib eater. And I probably haven’t tried a very large proportion of the rib options in Scottsdale but I’m still ready to declare a winner. The mouth wateringly tender barbecue ribs at Houston’s.

Houston’s is a great place for a family dinner in the evening although do be prepared to wait sometimes up to an hour to be seated. However, for a business lunch it is perfect. No wait, and close to the heart of both Scottsdale and Paradise Valley.

This is the only location in town now as last year the Biltmore location was closed and rebranded as Hillstone, after the name of the parent company.

Are truly knife and fork tender. They used to be called ‘knife and fork’ ribs but the menu name changed. I know in the photo they look a touch messy but they are delicious.

The ribs are served with shoestring fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw is particularly yummy and I have tried to recreate it at home. The key ingredient is Honey Dijon mustard.

If you are thinking to buy a home in Paradise Valley give me a call, after the closing we can have lunch in Houston’s to celebrate!
