As a new resident of Scottsdale Ranch I must say I absolutely love this subdivision / community.
When you come from the East Coast and arrive in Scottsdale you can be a bit over whelmed by the desert. It is undoubtably beautiful but it can be a shock. One area where you just don’t feel that deserty is Scottsdale Ranch. FIlled with palm and citrus trees the landscapes are very green and lush.
Of course there are ecological arguments against flattening out the desert and replacing it with perfect green lawns but sometimes it feels nice to take a break from the wildlife. If you like the desert more I’d be happy to sell you a home in DC Ranch or Estancia 🙂
Where I was living previously was just a bit more desert like and I must say I just couldn’t handle seeing another scorpion in the house.
