Yesterday the weather in Scottsdale was pretty intense and unusual. Much of North Scottsdale and Carefree was pelted with hail. Some hail was even reported on the upper slopes of Paradise Valley.
The weather while ominous was perfect for a short hike. Chilly winds, a light splash of rain made the scenery around Pinnacle Peak even more dramatic. Below are some of the pictures I captured. The finest real estate in the shadow of Pinnacle peak is undoubtedly Estancia. Stunning custom estates, golf course views and all in the shadow of the towering Pinnacle Peak. Super easy to climb the trail everyday if you live in Estancia.
