All weekend I have been working with out of state buyers who wish to purchase a home in the Town of Carefree, AZ. They saw my listing for the property I sold in seven days and wanted to discuss buying something similar.
Although I am a resident of North Scottsdale myself I am really starting to see why so many buyers are focused on Carefree.
Here are some of the reasons to love Carefree.
Views: Almost every property I visit has spectacular mountain views. Whether it’s the shadow of Black mountain or elevated on it’s own peak. Imagine stepping off the plane from New York City and being whisked away by taxi from Sky Harbor airport to the stunning views of Carefree. Inspiring.
Acreage: There many homes on acre plus lots in Carefree. So if you want a bit of elbow room its a perfect place to consider. Also most of the acre plots have no HOA which can be advantageous.
Big Sky: If you have never been to Carefree at night you should take the time to go. The stars are so bright and the rest of the Phoenix valley of the sun is just small twinkly lights on the horizon.
The People: The pace of life in Carefree seems to attract a cool and mellow crowd of people. There is no big highway, most of the roads are small and the whole place just has an intimate village feel. However, don’t be fooled the guy who just cruised past you in shorts and a T-shirt on his Harley could be a power corporate CEO from the East coast most of the year.
Cafe Bink: I never tire of eating at Cafe Bink. It’s the perfect lunch stop when working with buyers seeing many properties.
