Mayo Clinic To Open Medical School in North Scottsdale
Good news for the area to the far east of Scottsdale along the Shea Corridor.
AZCentral is reporting that Mayo Clinic
Mayo Clinic will join forces with Arizona State University to develop a new $266 million medical-school branch in Scottsdale that could begin teaching medical students by 2014.
The Rochester, Minn.-based medical school plans to add the facility, to be called the Mayo Medical School-Arizona campus, at Mayo’s campus on Shea Boulevard east of Loop 101.
Thats good news for real estate in that area and just for the general surrounding community. There was an AJ’s Fine Food on 136th Street that closed, presumably because of limited demand. Maybe this will bring added interest in the area.
