Sometimes you really just have a great day, and todays was topped off by drinks at the Thirsty Camel bar at The Phoenician resort in Paradise Valley.
That time of year has come. The heat is finally breaking. People are venturing outside. It reminds me of April on the East coast when the snow has all melted and everyone is relieved winter is finally done. Our summer is finally, just about done. Tonight was great patio weather.
The Thirsty Camel is one of the nicest patios in town. It’s big. Really big actually and the tables are spread out so you get a quiet spot to enjoy the view. The drinks are a bit overpriced of course but it’s like real estate, all based on location, location, location.
The drinks were cold. The bar snacks were yummy. The sun was setting. And Paradise Valley was the twinkling backdrop to the patio.
