If you travel east along Shea all the way to 136th street, which is pretty much the last big intersection before Fountain Hills you come to a couple of great gated communties.
If you head north on 136th you come to the prestigious Scottsdale mountain. Properties that snake upwards to the highest elevations on the south side of the McDowell Mountains.
Alternatively if you head south on 136th Street and go right to the end you come across the charming community of Carino Canyon. Past there there is nothing but Native American reservation basically all the way to Mesa. So some of the properties have desert views that stretch for many 10’s of miles.
