Today while I was checking out Sotheby’s Realty monthly online magazine Reside I came across a very interesting article. It talks about how social media is becoming a tool for REALTOR’s to use in aquiring clients.
The article is written by Derek Duncan with contributions from Roger Ewing another member of the Sotheby’s Realty family. As you may know in addition to being a REALTOR, I am one of the top bloggers in the area of fashion and beauty and so as soon as I started REAL ESTATE it was normal for me to use social media and Internet marketing to build on my brand as a REALTOR.
Social media is a great way to connect with people but in addition I feel you must have a great website as a REALTOR in today’s market. Many agent websites seem to lack a bit of personality. They seem more focused on getting potential clients to search for houses using the MLS.
