As a North Scottsdale real estate agent and REALTOR I often get asked about which communities are the best or nicest to live in. Well there are so many great places to own property here whether it’s your main home or a vacation property that it’s really kind of hard to go wrong.
However, if you are from out of state here is a brief over view of some of the communities to keep and eye out for as possible places to live.
Described as a private enclave of custom estate homesites and intimate retreats tucked into the canyons of the McDowell Mountains in North Scottsdale. Silverleaf has many stunning and beautiful homes
Described as “a community of uncompromising quality and beauty that is in one of the country’s most desirable places to live – north Scottsdale. Grayhawk features two distinct yet interconnected neighborhoods with gorgeous views of Pinnacle Peak and the McDowell Mountains, The Park and The Retreat.” Greyhawk is exceptional for young families.
I love the Pinnacle Peak area. It’s got a great mix of life and serenity. The mountain itself is beautiful and there are plenty of stunning homes. Some in gated communities and some on 5 or more acre packages of land. There is every style of home too from Santa Fe to Modern minimalist.
Troon Village is a 1,400 acre residential golf community located in North Scottsdale. The community offers a fitness facility complete with tennis, swimming, and a sport court. Troon Village has an assortment of residential choices from townhomes to semi-custom and custom homes. Some people love the quiet tranquility but allots everyone who lives there loves to golf, in some of the finest golf weather in the US.
There are lots of other great communities to consider such as DC Ranch, McDowell Mountain Ranch, the Boulders and more but do consider the ones above especially if you are someone out of state beginning a search for a vacation property.
